The Inventory Planner will support the Tapestry EU Inventory Management team in creating, finalizing, and driving in season management of OTB plan across Full Price DTC and Wholesale channels.

Leveraging total regional inventory ownership opportunities.

They will hold a key role in delivering performance against sales and margin targets, maximizing pre and in season inventory and driving cross-channel inventory optimization opportunities.

  • Support delivery of Kate Spade Europe Annual Operating plans and facilitate inventory optimization across all channels in the region.
  • Monthly management department sales reforecast reflect DR% / GM % / receipt plan.
  • Key contributor in driving in region inventory optimization in line with global inventory brand targets
  • Manage Multi-DC inventory planning by season to maximize stock efficiencies across Europe and UK distribution Centre.
  • Provide monthly inbound and outbound logistics summary for Multi DC European
  • Accountable for the management of Kate Spade Europe Omni Channel OTB plans, partnering with Buying leads to drive category opportunities. This includes sales, gross margin, inbounds, inventory turn and WOH targets at dept/class level.
  • Present weekly / monthly to regional and global partners
  • Seasonal stock optimization across all channels, to maximize profit and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain departmental systems and reporting tools.
  • Partner with Buying counterparts to drive product life cycle through relevant channels. Clearly communicate timelines with the business.

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Minimum 2 years of Merchandise Planning and Inventory Management Experience.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Experience in a fastpaced retail organization.
  • Advanced computer skills in Excel required.
  • Proficient use of retail planning systems ideally RPAS, BI Cora, and SAP.
  • Ability to manage own workload and effectively focus on multiple priorities.
  • Enthusiastic partner with a desire to achieve team objectives and goals.
  • Organized and analytical with strong attention to detail.
