Description

Working in a small team of Clinical Health Care Support workers and under the supervision of the Preadmission nurses, you will be joining as a vital part of the wider Multidisciplinary Cardiology Team.

Managing the day to day coordination of the Cardiology Outpatient clinics-these include Nurse Practitioner/Consultant/Clinical Fellow and associates. You will be organised, IT literate a great communicator and always be patient focused.

Currently we work between the hours of 7am-5pm Monday to Friday

Administrative preparation of the daily clinics.

Preparation of the clinic rooms

Collating all information pre and post clinic.

Coordinating the running of clinics on a daily basis.

Meeting and greeting patients.

Acting as a chaperone if required

Recording 12 Lead ECGs if appropriate

Venepuncture if required.

Liaising with the Site team if a patients requires admission.

Supporting outpatients with mobility if required.

Supporting patients psychologically if requiring following/during clinic appointments.

Using the Trusts IT systems

Being involved with the audit process and involved with the Improving Together process.

Demonstrate working under own initiative within the parameters of the role.

Contribute to the role development and participate in team meetings.
