    Job summary

    We have an exciting opportunity in our Gloucester clinic for a nurse who wants to make a difference in our patients lives. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures with the aim to increase the quality of life for our patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on-the-job training, e-learning and access to our in-house education programmed Academy.

    Main duties of the job

    You will be responsible for taking ownership of care programmes for renal patients, following the tailored care plans as per Consultant instructions and ensuring clinical activity is appropriately documented in the patient medical record. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems in line with Diaveurm processes; reviewing pre and post haemodialysis care with patients; working in a multi-disciplinary team etc.

    At Diaverum, we're excited to offer an incredible opportunity for nurses (whether you're experienced or in training) to join our newly acquired clinic in the heart of Gloucester.

    This role is based in a small acute dialysis unit which is set within a renal ward based on hospital grounds. In this role you will experience in-patients as opposed to the outpatient dialysis clinic.

    Our exceptional nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 ensures you have ample time to provide holistic care to your patients. Our clinic is open from Monday to Saturday, with shifts running from either 07:00 am to 19:00pm or 23:00 pm, offering you the flexibility and work-life balance you've been searching for. Plus, we value your downtime our clinic does not operate on Sundays.

    Your Responsibilities:

    Developing and overseeing care plans for renal patients.

    Working in an acute care setting

    Ensuring clinical activities are meticulously documented.

    Preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems.

    Reviewing pre and post-hemodialysis care with patients.

    Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team.

    Requirements:

    NMC Registered General Nurse.

    Familiarity with the NMC code of professional conduct.

    Ability to work autonomously and in a multi-disciplinary team.

    Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.

    Excellent English communication skills.

    What We Offer:

    Full-time position ( hours per week).

    Monday to Saturday shifts, with no night or Sunday work.

    Starting Salary of up to £33,719, based on dialysis experience.

    Sign on bonus of up to £3,000

    Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours.
