About the role

Accounts Assistant

Permanent

London, hybrid model

Reports to Group Finance Manager

Summary of the role but also what our team are up to:

This role will support the wider global finance team at Go City and will have responsibility for supporting with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing as well as any other ad hoc tasks as required to support the wider team in their day-to-day operations.

The role will also free up the team to allow for work on the implementation of the new trade hub and other system improvements.


Accounts Payable:


  • Assist with processing supplier invoices
  • Global attraction invoice reconciliation to statements
  • Global attraction scan reconciliations, selfbill processing and payment for the Americas
  • Ensure up to date allocation and ledger reconciliation
  • Support implementation of automated invoice import into finance system
  • Assist with pricing updates and order management in our Commerce system

Accounts Receivable:


  • Assist with pricing updates and order management in our Commerce system

Requirements:


What skills do you have that are essential in this role?

  • Good excel skills (including vlookups and pivot tables)
  • Experience using medium sized finance accounts system
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Selfmotivated and strong desire to learn and continously challenge
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to work across functions with a variety of stakeholders
  • Demonstrates a methodical mind set
