    What you'll do

    You'll lead initiatives to deliver efficiency for the business, so project management is in your DNA – timelines, milestones, risk assessments, stakeholder plans excite you.

    As the Product Owner for our internal systems (known as the Technology Ecosystem) you will own the product vision, the product roadmap and ensure that we deliver on the plan. You will work with developers and teams to make sure that requirements are met and where requirements mean adapting designs of , you will sometimes deliver on this yourself.

    This role is part of a small Activation and Efficiency team – a team of expert project managers focused on internal efficiencies but also enabling new external capabilities to be launched and rolled out effectively internally.

    The remit of this role spans the MMR Family which is made up of 4 companies – MMR, Together, Huxly and Ideal Insight.

    You will work with developers to build technology solutions but where solutions require customization of then you will be expected to deliver on some of this yourself.

    Requirements

    We are looking for an expert project or programme manager who also has expertise in using or similar tools to deliver efficiencies for a business and who loves working on internal operational improvements.

    You need to be able to manage and influence stakeholders and project team members at all levels of the organization. This means that you need to be a great communicator to both users of systems and technical experts, be self-motivated, highly organized and solution-oriented. The business is fast-paced and evolving and so if you know business process improvement processes such as Lean and Six Sigma this would also be of benefit.

  • Process Optimisation: Ability to analyse existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analysing data to derive insights, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimise operations and drive performance improvements.
  • Project Management: Skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Change Management: Expertise in change management methodologies and techniques to facilitate smooth transitions during process changes, system implementations, or organisational transformations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different departments or functions to align objectives, coordinate efforts, and drive collective success.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyse root causes, and develop creative solutions to overcome challenges and obstacles in operations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas, project updates, and performance metrics effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement by seeking out opportunities to optimise processes, implement best practices, and drive ongoing enhancements in operations.
  • Quality Management: Understanding of quality management principles and methodologies to ensure that processes and outputs meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant technologies, tools, and systems used in operations management, such as workflow automation software, data analytics platforms, and project management tools, experience using is essential.
  • Research agency or any marketing services agency experience is preferable but not essential for this role.
