    Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their team. They are looking for an experienced Event Manager to coordinate and plan large scale award ceremonies and conferences in the UK and internationally. The company are expanding and there is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with that growth.

    The role will involve managing events from planning, venue sourcing and negotiations, working with sponsors, managing all the event logistics, producing marketing and exhibitions materials, budget management and onsite management at the event.

    We are looking for a commercially minded and dynamic event manager ideally with experience of managing B2B events, conferences, and award ceremonies. Team management experience is advantageous and an ability to travel internationally when required.

    Duties include:

    • Creating a plan for existing events, bringing ideas and suggestions to create exciting and interesting experiences
    • Venue sourcing and negotiations
    • Sourcing and managing suppliers and negotiating prices
    • Budget management
    • Liaising with event sponsors regarding their requirements and coordinating
    • Manage and coordinate all the event logistics including entertainment, speakers, AV etc.
    • Production of marketing collateral and exhibition materials
    • Ensure smooth running of the event on the day, liaising with suppliers, contractors and internal staff
    • Day to day management and oversight of the Events Coordinator
    • Post event evaluation and reporting

    Desired skills and experience

    • 3 years + experience in event management
    • B2B events, award ceremonies and conference background desirable
    • Previous team management experience is beneficial
    • Ability to travel nationally and internationally for events when required
    • Commercially driven and a desire to grow with the role
