About the role
In the role of Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator, the duties include but not limited to:
Full cycle accounts payable
Timely entry of invoices
Month end accruals and reconciliations
Vendor payments (Wires, Checks and ACHs)
Expense reporting and reimbursement
Bank reconciliations
Respond to vendor inquiries
Assist in month end financial closing
Assist with year-end audit
Credit Card statement reconciliations
Collect vendor W-9s
Issuance of 1099s
Other duties as assigned
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
Strong educational background - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
A minimum of 5 years + experience strong preference given to professional service, or law firm environment
Knowledge of general accounting principles, standard accounts payable policies, procedures and regulations
Experience working with ERP system such as Aderant, or Chrome River a plus
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to interact effectively with senior management
Excellent interpersonal communication as well as written skills
Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous priorities
Proven organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to achieve results without close supervision
Understands the importance of deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently, practical, hands-on, "can-do" approach and also has the strong desire to work as a member of a collaborative team
