As a Surfacing Operative, it is expected that you possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong sense of teamwork, and a flexible approach to work. Your success in this role will be driven by your ability to consistently complete tasks on time, taking pride in delivering a product of superior quality and having a keen eye for detail. Teamwork is key while working within our surfacing squads with all members being able to work under their own initiative in showing their willingness to learn and develop.You are not the type to struggle with following instructions. This role is not suitable for individuals who dislike travelling, working outdoors, or working during night time. In this position, you will be required to work closely with a team and rely on your own resourcefulness.
Key Responsibilities
To truly excel in this role, you must be someone who is renowned for taking pride in their work. Collaborating with a team of experienced operatives, your responsibility will be to carry out tasks as directed by the Foreman and actively help the experienced members in their roles. It is crucial to uphold professional work practices and adhere to company rules, procedures, and safety protocols.
