    Description

    We are looking to support one of our project teams with Software expertise for a project we have taken on based in the West Midlands.

    This is a remote postingYou will be joining a team in automotive electric vehicle design and development. Currently 8 strong in the Software Team.

    You will be involved in the development and testing of low-level functions for the battery management system product, using a TMS processor and RTOS.


    As the engineer your experience will include:
    Strong C-coding skills is key, ideally using the Texas Instruments TMS Experience of iso-26262Experience with MISRA C coding guidelines Experience with auto-code generation in Simulink Experience with version control systems (SVN, GIT) Experience with CAN, UDS, XCP implementation

    Your mission and day-to-day tasks:
    Writing code CParticipate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress and plans.
    Review requirements and contribute to code reviews for quality assurance.
    Develop and debug embedded automotive software features.
    Write and execute unit tests, and participate in integration testing.
    Update technical documentation and attend relevant meetings.
    Stay updated with industry trends through research and learning.
    Provide support to team members and address software issues promptly.
