TRANSACTIONAL MANAGER - 35Kpa - BIRMINGHAM - HYBRID WORKING AND FLEXI HOURS


You will be responsible for the provision of an effective Finance Team leader and support to the Group director of finance and resource.

To provide support to members of the Senior Management Team as and when required.

Coach and develop the finance/administrationteam, ensuring that resources are deployed according to business and that support services are delivered in an efficient and consistent manner.


  • Produce monthly supplier statement reconciliations and liaise with the supplier to follow up on queries, issues and payments.
  • Develop the team around to become a high performing and add efficiencies to current process.
  • System map current process within the accounts payable team and identify controls and weakness
  • Implement new processes within the accounts payable team to improve efficiencies.
  • Process and review payments to suppliers on a weekly basis.
  • Identify areas of weakness within the team and help upskill to enhance development.
  • Provide variance analysis to budget spending from suppliers.
  • Delegate tasks to the right level within the team to ensure completed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with other areas of the business on processing of finance admin and offer support where needed.
