- Support the month end close by ensuring key deliverables and assigned tasks are correctly executed according to the month end deadlines
- Preparation and posting of month end journals in line with agreed policies and procedures in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is retained for SOX compliance.
- Calculation and preparation of accounting journals, accruals, transfers, provisions, accruals, and provisioning as required for QVC UK operations.
- Supporting our Vendor credit control team with debit management status update and provisioning.
- Supporting detailed and Accurate accounting for rebates
- Responsible for preparation of various month end journals
- Preparation and completion of accurate monthly Balance Sheet and sub ledger account reconciliations.
- Balance Sheet reporting for analysis within Corporate Finance and for US reporting requirements.
- Complete and accurate execution of SOX controls per agreed timelines
- Support internal and external Audit by ensuring requested documentation is provided in a timely manner
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
- SAP experience essential
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and cost accounting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
