Mobile App Tester

ShortList are working with an established company based in Chester who are looking for a Mobile App Tester to join their growing team.


The Mobile App Tester should have at least 2 years' experience in mobile app testing, backed up with demonstrable experience of QA methodology, knowledge of the full SDLC including the use of testing and bug-tracking tools.


Key Skills required for the Mobile App Tester:

  • Proven track record in mobile app testing


  • Test management tools

  • JIRA ideally
  • Strong background across manual and regression testing methods
  • Test scripting languages (e.g. Swift / JavaScript / Java / Kotlin)
  • Ability to design and write wellstructured test scripts
  • Strong documentation and ability to present the outcome of testing activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Automation testing experience (desirable)
  • Integration / Web API testing (desirable)
  • JavaScript web automation experience (desirable)


In return, the successful Mobile App Tester will be entitled to a salary of up to £45,000 (DOE) and a range of benefits, including 5% bonus, 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), internal well-being initiatives plus a hybrid working model (two days in office per week).

The role is commutable from North Wales, Wrexham, Cheshire, Liverpool and Manchester.
