Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the warehouse dealing with inbound and outbound deliveries, stock management, also delivering stock nationwide to assist the Betfred retail estate.
Responsibilities
- You will be dealing with couriers daily both accepting deliveries, packaging and dispatching materials
- Have direct involvement in the general running of the warehouse keeping the stock management up to date and general housekeeping of the warehouse environment
- There will be a strong admin role booking materials in and out also booking the courier deliveries along with compiling the figures for the budgets.
- Routine fire alarm/means of escape/emergency lighting testing will be required and logging any faults to the estates team.
- Assisting maintenance contractors when working on head office
- Fork truck operation when loading and unloading materials
- Assisting with the logístical needs of the business
- Transport of stock between sites
- On occasions delivering direct to sites
Experience and Skills
- Strong knowledge and interest in the sporting calendar.
- Driver's licence required
- Good knowledge of spreadsheets
- Experience with proactis stock system would be good
- Fork lift truck license (preferred) or training can be provided
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under high time pressures on multiple tasks.
- Selfdriven and can manage own workload as well as others.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Selfmotivated, uses initiative and ambitious.
- Team player, sociable, remains calm under pressure.
- Can do attitude
