Introduction

Reporting to the Group FC this role will Take ownership of all day-to-day accounting for the primary group company, including prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

Management of accounts payable from receipt of invoices through to payment, ensuring accuracy and appropriate authorisations are obtained at every stage.
Prepare, input, and validate journal entries.
Provide support to complete the monthend and yearend reporting.
Assist in the preparation and compilation of relevant documentation for the annual statutory audit.
Contribute to the compilation of budgets and financial reports on monthly and adhoc basis.
Drive efficiency within the finance team, making suggestions for where processes could be streamlined and contributing to automation projects.
Provide adhoc financial information and analysis as required.
In conjunction with other staff respond promptly to all correspondence relating to general enquiries.

Qualifications and Experience

Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA or equivalent) with a minimum of two years' experience in an accountancy role study package is provided.
Good knowledge of basic accounting processes
Organised and methodical with strong attention to detail
Ability to work flexibly where the demands of the role require
