    A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the Nursing and Quality Team

    Hybrid Working - Predominantly working from home and some working in offices across Hertfordshire and West Essex .

    Main duties of the job

    The primary function of this role is to support and manage the administration workload of the Quality Improvement function within the ICB Nursing and Quality Team. Effective use of their time, through achieving a balance between internal and external meetings; routine and development work, ensuring that the team receive the best possible briefings and administrative support.

    The post holder will contribute to the delivery and implementation of quality improvement education, learning and development programmes across the ICB and ICS to a multi-disciplinary audience.

    The post holder must have the ability to use their own initiative, working with a minimum of supervision to deadlines whilst maintaining a flexible approach. Key duties of the role include;

  • Act as a quality improvement champion, promoting improvement to drive improvement and innovation
  • Inspire an interest in quality improvement approaches by having a communication style that motivates and enables people
  • Plan and organise workshops and improvement events with the Senior Quality Improvement Manager and the Assistant Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety
  • Provide administrative support to the Herts and West Essex Quality Improvement Network
  • To provide basic project support, analysis and administration for quality improvement projects and work at System and Place level

    Knowledge, Training and Experience

  • Experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis
  • Basic knowledge of quality improvement principles
  • Have proven organisational skills and be capable of dealing with multiple tasks and prioritising the workload
  • Communication skills

  • Ability to motivate and enthuse others through interpersonal skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to managing conflicting approaches
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders
