Join us as a Strategic Finance Partner, Asset Management

For someone with strong stakeholder management skills and strategic awareness, this is a chance to provide support and challenge to the Asset Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) in achieving its strategic goals
You'll be developing, shaping and influencing the strategic direction of the business and providing high quality strategic advice and insight to support decision making
This challenging and rewarding role offers significant exposure and the opportunity to raise your profile across the bank
We're offering this role for a period of 12 months

What you'll do:

Your other key responsibilities will include:

Working with our Finance centres of excellence to provide strategic SME advice supported by specific financial plans, forecasts, stress testing and customer, market or segment analysis
Proactively influencing to make sure cost and capital management leadership is present within the franchise
Overseeing strategic finance activities including product overlays for plan, forecast, stress scenarios
Delivering critical review and challenge to make sure that resources are optimally presented in investment decisions and business cases
Driving all business finance requirements, including month end requirements, strategic planning, functional reporting requirements and ensuring the timely escalation of issues

The skills you'll need:

Asset management experience with investment product and market segment knowledge is key for this role, and ideally you'll have accounting or finance knowledge.

You'll also demonstrate:

The ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk and work in a flexible environment
Strong finance functional and accounting knowledge
The ability to partner closely with senior leaders and their teams, delivering high quality insight to drive strategic change
