    Senior Fullstack Developer at a Well-funded Startup in Yorkshire

    Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per Annum Depending on Experience

    I am representing an innovative startup in Yorkshire currently seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer - could this be the perfect opportunity for you?

    This dynamic company is deeply immersed in data technology and advanced data science, including AI and Machine Learning, with a particular focus on crucial energy and climate-related initiatives. Having commenced operations three years ago, they have made remarkable progress and are currently backed by a team of 10 dedicated professionals. They are now eager to welcome an additional Senior Fullstack Developer to their collaborative team.

    Given the startup nature of the company, the ideal candidate should be adept at handling multiple responsibilities concurrently and must possess strong self-initiative, capable of tackling tasks independently. It is important to note that this role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in Leeds - candidates should consider this detail before applying.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Using coding expertise to develop sophisticated web applications using Python and Javascript, and deploying them on AWS
    • Engaging in serverless application development with NoSQL, while prior experience in cloud architecture is highly advantageous
    • Collaborating with end-users on projects: gathering and clarifying requirements, reaching consensus on the way forward, and seeing projects through from inception to completion
    • Working as an integral part of a tightly knit team with a solid technical background

    Key Skills Required:

    • Proficiency in Python, particularly FastAPI and Microservices
    • Experience with Javascript and one of the following: React, Vue, or Angular
    • Familiarity with AWS services such as CI/CD, Terraform, S3, EC2, and RDS

    Desired Skills:

    • Additional knowledge in a related field like Data Science, DevOps, or UX/UI would be a beneficial asset
