Location:
Stratford, London (E15)


Salary:
£25,000 - £40,000 per year


The Client:

Our client are a growing and well-known London law firm with offices in Stratford and Central London.

Their mission is to use their expertise and knowledge to assist people in resolving the difficulties they are having with legal matters.

Due to growth,they are searching for an
assistant practise manager to be based from the offices in Stratford, London.


Duties:


  • Assisting the Practice Manager in all areas of their responsibility.
  • Assisting team members in the management and reporting of risk and breaches of rules and regulations and ensuring compliance training in all areas is given to all staff.
  • Ensuring adherence to the key dates in the firm's annual Compliance Calendar with all relevant persons abiding by their responsibilities and time scales.
  • Ensuring that supervision, file reviews and internal audit functions are undertaken as required.
  • Coordination of the production, circulation, and analysis of management information and KPI reports, preparing for meetings, taking notes, and drafting minutes.
  • Monitoring to ensure that SRA rules and regulations are strictly followed and that the SRA's code of conduct is central to the values of the firm.
  • Case and file management, financial management, information management, and risk management.
  • Assisting and coordinating preparation for Lexcel annual assessments and other accreditations and managing audits.
  • At least 6 months experience as an assistant practise manager in a law firm.
  • Minimum 1 year's previous employment in a law firm essential.
  • Strong Organisational and Management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills.
  • Proven ability to organise and manage a diverse range of projects, prioritising multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Good IT skills.
