As a Shift Manager at Lincolnshire Herbs, you will provide strong leadership to the production team. Your responsibilities will cover Safety, People, Quality and Profitability. You will lead by example, embodying our company values and motivate your team to exceed our customers expectations creating a right first-time culture. You will drive continuous improvement across all aspects of food manufacturing, positioning Lincolnshire Herbs as a supplier of choice for our customers. Through your leadership style you will promote and contribute to a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities:

· Accountability for the late shift operation – including site security and employee safety.

· Delivering operational plans for your shift (both in terms of productivity and financial).

· Ensuring satisfactory handover of information to the day shift and escalate issues where appropriate.

· Driving continuous improvement culture across the shift team, identifying improvement activities.

· Leading investigations / identification of root cause analysis for non-conformances in Food Safety or Quality breaches.

· Maintaining shift training plans and new starter procedures in a timely manner.

· Cultivate a positive culture and behavioural values within the team ensuring they are prepared to respond to challenges.

· Coach and mentor your team to raise capability, supporting succession planning and personal development.

Required Knowledge / Skills:

· Proven management experience within a manufacturing industry.

· Ability to bring a positive attitude and strong leadership skills to an established working environment.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

· Strong planning and organisational skills.

· Capability to positively impact operational KPIs – driving improvement through your team.

· Intermediate Food Safety Hygiene (Level 3)
