Finance Assistant | High Growth FMCG Business | London | Hybrid | £30-35k


Consumer Additions are currently partnering with a trendy FMCG business, who due to recent growth are going through a period of expansion and are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their-London based team.


This role allows you to take ownership of the transactional process, overseeing management of the general ledger as well assisting with the month end process.

The company are in a transitional period of growth an expansion so has plenty of career progression and opportunities to develop on offer


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining both purchase and sales ledgers, processing and uploading invoices onto the system
  • Doing regular bank and stock reconciliations
  • Managing the weekly payment run
  • Be a key point of contact for suppliers; dealing with any queries and discrepancies for invoices.
  • Processing employee and credit card expenses
  • Assisting with Financial Controller with the management accounts during month end
  • Assisting the finance team with any adhoc tasks or project work

Key Requirements:


  • Previous finance experience is required
  • Background in FMCG is preferred not required
  • Strong Knowledge of Excel is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills with a positive 'can do' attitude
  • Time management skills as overseeing all transactional duties
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic business and adaptable to change
  • You should be proactive, organized and able to problemsolve
