I am currently recruiting for a client of mine who are based in Colchester. This company are growing at a rate of Knots. They are growing so fast, it is a really exciting time to join them. They are the experts in their field.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Completing daily sales orders for the Company's customers
  • Communicate daily with distributors, end users, internal and external employees to discuss sales order related queries.
  • Assisting the Accounting & Credit Management Lead with monthly tasks such as sending statements
  • Assisting the Accounting & Credit Management Lead and the Accounting Manager with daily tasks
  • Assisting in the completion of Credit Application forms and setting up new customers in the company's inhouse system
  • Liaise with the stores department regarding delivery time frames, stock levels and carriage issues.
  • Be an active member of the team; willing to assist peers, work collaboratively, brainstorm issues, complete adhoc requests and be flexible in completing tasks
  • Filing documentation and organization of the current filing system and archiving.
  • Holiday/illness cover for other accounting members which may range from invoicing to the raising of purchase orders.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, entrepreneurial and fastpaced work environment.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent organisational skills in assuming responsibility for managing multiple priorities
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm with a focus on providing useful information to make good business decisions in a supportive environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in light of the phone and online interactions with the overseas corporate office and customers
  • Proven experience working in a similar role

  • Hours of work

  • Mon-Fri 8:30am until 5pm (half hour lunch)
  • 25 days Holiday + Statutory Bank Holidays
