Lancaster Environment Centre (Department) at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a full-time Finance Assistant.

As part of the general and operational support for the department, the role holder will provide advice and support to staff members and students, provide finance information, monitor and review budgets and process financial transactions.

ABOUT YOU

You will:

  • Have experience of working in a finance administration environment.
  • Have experience of using Microsoft Excel to monitor and report on income and expenditure and the ability to present information in an appropriate format.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner with a diverse range of people.
  • Have the ability to prioritise workload to meet competing deadlines, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Be able to demonstrate competent IT skills and the ability to work with new systems and software in an evolving digital environment.
