    Service Manager – Adult Commissioning and Market Development
    £66,526 pa Are you or have you previously worked as a Senior/Strategic Adults Commissioning leader? We are looking for an experienced Commissioning leader to join our senior management team who will provide strategic commissioning leadership throughout the whole commissioning cycle including the management and development of local care and third sector markets. You will have experience in co-producing services with communities, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and a desire to make a difference in South Tyneside.

    About the Role: Working collaboratively with the market, people, and colleagues across the system, you'll implement transformational change through commissioning for outcomes. You'll have responsibility for delivering all commissioning activities relating adult services. Through developing strong partnerships and utilising appropriate governance structures, you'll lead the commissioning of high-quality services that support South Tyneside people to live better and independent lives. You will take strategic responsibility for co-producing future models of support and services with partners, stakeholders, people and markets to ensure effective services are available. You will lead the transformation of services and markets to improve outcomes for people. You will be responsible for all aspects of adults commissioning activity including workforce management ensuring your teams and functions are CQC inspection ready.     About You: You will have experience in managing commissioning at a Senior Level, you will be passionate about coproduction and system working to bring about the delivery of high-quality services, enabling people to live better lives. You will be accustomed to leading diverse teams through embedding systems and corporate governance to bring about change. whilst being willing to challenge the status quo to ensure adults within South Tyneside are supported to Live Better Lives. You will have experience of the social care system, regulation and reporting requirements. Finally as the main driver for South Tyneside's adults commissioning function, you will be a passionate, innovative, professional and a real team player.
