Job Summary
You will lead the development of effective practice in the Contract Package Area (Region) for Employment, Training and Education (ETE).
You will maintain high quality skills by working with a selection of the most complex cases, support the ETE Manager and undertake line management of some ETE Coaches in the team.
Essential Job Duties
- Leading the coaching and development of team practice through organisation and delivery of team development practice sessions, individual coaching sessions and promotion and dissemination of latest good practice research
- Lead internal QA activity and liaison with central QA team
- Maintaining high quality skills by working with a selection of the most complex cases (equivalent to a 25% ETE Coach caseload)
- Supporting the ETE Manager and undertaking line management of some ETE Coaches in the team (no more than 50% of the team)
- Deputise for the ETE Manager when required including being part of on call Duty Manager rota
- Carry out ad hoc business projects and support for the ETE Manager where required
- Support the team builds strong relationships with external organisations and internal stakeholders
- Support the manager to ensure contract compliance is fully achieved whilst delivering in line with operating profit and loss targets
Education and Experience Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Management or staff development experience in a people facing delivery environment
- Skills and knowledge in supporting people into employment or training opportunities
- Experience of working with people from disadvantaged communities
- Able to understand and manage profit and loss, cost control and budgeting
- Confident and competent in networking and building relationships
- Track record in the delivery of high quality services
- Able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders employers, statutory, voluntary and partner services
- Able to work in a flexible and autonomous manner; being visionary, promoting improvements and sharing best practice that supports business efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Resilience and solution focused
- Highly motivated selfstarter
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver information in an organised and accessible manner
- ICT proficient
