    Description

    Currently recruiting for an experienced C&I Maintenance Engineer on a contract basis for an E&P company based in Kingswells, Aberdeen.

    It is a contract position through until the end of the year initially, and the company are only considering PAYE contractors for this particular role.

    This role would suit an experienced instrument and control professional with broader systems engineering experience, who has a strong maintenance support background within operating environments.

    A key element of this role is being able to manipulate data within a CMMS environment – therefore previous SAP experience would be highly advantageous, however, experience with another CMMS system (e.g., The post holder will be expected to review plant maintenance routines, understand maintenance strategies, assess what's been done in the past and work out future strategies.
    Reporting to the Maintenance Methods Team Lead, the C&I Maintenance Engineer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:
    Reviewing preventative maintenance routines for suitability and makes recommendations for optimisation.
    Facilitating maintenance strategy review workshops.
    Improving asset equipment availability and reliability using RCM techniques.
    Undertaking equipment critical spares analysis in accordance with company standards.
    Developing maintenance strategies to meet business goals and, where appropriate, ensuring standardisation of maintenance strategy application.
    Participating in the cleansing of existing transactional data.
    Implementing effective maintenance program master data in company CMMS.
    A Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline would be preferred.
    Previous experience in a similar role, directly within the North Sea oil and gas industry, is essential.
    Previous control and instrument engineering experience, directly within the Oil & Gas industry, is essential.
    Previous SAP experience would be preferred.
