Night Duty Manager - London, United Kingdom - PMR
Description
We are working with a premier development based in the heart of South West London, seeking an experienced Night Duty Manager to join the team.
You will report into the Senior Duty Manager or Estate Manager on site, and will be overseeing a team of up to3 direct reports.
The purpose of the Night Duty Manager is to be responsible for the day-to-day operations, Health & Safety and line management of the Front of House areas (Concierge, Traffic Officers and Security).
Rota: 4 nights on, 4 nights off - 7pm to 7am
Salary:
£35,000 - £36,000 DOE
Direct Reports:
Team of 3 in total, 2 Concierges & 1 Security Guard
Main Duties:
- Leading by example to set visual standards and quality customer service for the development.
- Motivate employees to strive for and achieve success for the development and company.
- Coach, train and develop employees by fostering a cando attitude to encourage continuous improvement.
- Ensure the FOH teams are fully engaged to take accountability for all tasks given and to see them through to the end.
- To take accountability and action the operational site inspections.
- To be selfmotivating and to strive for and achieve success for the development and company.
- Take personal responsibility for understanding and following the company's Health & Safety policies and practices, demonstrating personal engagement with safety and proactively identifying risks and hazards (to immediate manager) to continuously improvesafety performance.
- Line management of the Front of House areas (Concierge, Traffic Officers and Security).
- Decisionmaking and problemsolving will be required, given the circumstances of the roles.
- To be a main point of contact, to resolve all residents and visitor's queries and complaints.
- Accountable for all Estate communication via on line systems and for these to be communicated and trained to all line reports and to be kept up to date.
- To assist in the required onsite duties and provide excellent concierge services as prescribed by the development.
- To maintain tight security procedures at all times.
Required Experience:
- IOSH qualified (ideally)
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and legislation.
- Knowledge of antidiscrimination & equal opportunity legislation.
- Experience of supervising / managing a team.
- Knowledge of key aspects of management practice including principles of effective supervision, appraisal and employment legislation.
- Staff delegation.
- Knowledge of key aspects of management practice including principles of effective supervision, performance management, appraisal and employment legislation.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information and sensitive matters that may involve the general public and handling issues and queries with professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to undertake further training as required.
