Do you have a creative spirit and enjoy organising engaging activities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Co-ordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Organise a varied range of activities to entertain and engage our residents, ensuring they are stimuating, enjoyable and suitable for all abilities and interests.
Create a monthly activities calendar and distribute it to residents, staff, and families to keep them informed of upcoming events.
Encourage resident participation in activities, making sure to cater to individual preferences and abilities.
Provide necessary support and assistance to residents during activities, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
Collaborate with other staff members, to integrate activities into residents' care plans.
Liaise with external organizations and volunteers to arrange special events and guest speakers.
Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials needed for activities, ensuring they are wellstocked and readily available.
Evaluate the success and impact of activities through resident feedback, observation, and assessment, making adjustments as needed.
Document and maintain accurate records of residents' participation in activities.

Requirements:

Previous experience in coordinating activities preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with residents of different backgrounds and abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and execute a variety of activities simultaneously.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative and engaging activities for residents.
Compassionate and patient nature.
Enhanced DBS required
