    Role and Responsibilities

    • Lead 15 people (3 teams: mechanical, electrical, software)
    • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring technical integrity and resource efficiency from inception to completion
    • Collaborate closely with the Sales & Business Development team to identify and deliver commercially appealing new and updated products
    • Generate, negotiate, and adhere to the annual R&D budget
    • Develop strategic plans and roadmaps, prioritizing research and development initiatives
    • Establish clear objectives for the R&D team, ensuring timely delivery of projects
    • Provide technical guidance and assistance to the Sales team
    • Engage with clients to refine and assess project requirements
    • Create and enforce IMS procedures and engineering work instructions
    • Assist in bid preparation, crafting technical proposals, and providing accurate time and cost estimates
    • Ensure successful implementation of company policies and procedures
    • Research and introduce emerging technologies and methodologies
    • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement

    Requirements

    • Relevant higher degree (Mechanical/Electronics/Physics)
    • 5 years of experience in people management
    • Solid experience with customers
    • Excellent leadership skills
    • Experience in any of the following industries: defence/medical device/aerospace
