About The Role:

Are you an ambitious environmental consultant looking for an exciting opportunity in the rapidly expanding offshore renewables sector? Do you have experience writing and delivering HRA and other ecological assessment-related work? GoBe consultants are looking for a Senior HRA consultant to join their team and we want to hear from you


As Senior HRA Consultant, you will be part of the HRA Team providing expert advice to clients and reporting for assessments.

You will work closely with other HRA consultants, as well as other teams, on windfarm proposals within the marine and coastal environment, requiring a detailed understanding of environmental impacts on marine ecology.

You will be encouraged to identify opportunities and deliver a range of projects across a variety of clients, primarily (but not limited to) renewable energy companies.

All such work will be unified by the theme of sustainable development and the need for associated environmental protection and effective management.


As you progress in this role, you'll become a trusted advisor for clients and stakeholders, working or leading on providing HRA-specific consultancy advice for a number of offshore windfarm proposals.

You'll build significant and valuable experience of working in the rapidly expanding offshore wind industry, with opportunities for promotion and increased responsibility within GoBe and the wider Apem Group.


About you


You will have knowledge, skills, and experience derived from a career in a consulting firm or similar organisation, as well as cross-cutting expertise in HRA process and protected sites legislation and (preferably) other ecological assessment-related work.

A detailed understanding of environmental impacts on marine ecology is also required. alongside this, you will need strong communication skills, with experience in liaising with clients or key stakeholders.

You will also be ready to take on staff mentoring and management and be practiced in running projects and ready to lead on these, with support.


We are open to where you live and where you work, however you may need to attend our offices in either Glasgow and/or Buckfastleigh, Devon to attend ad-hoc project meetings.

You will be offered the chance to work on a variety of projects.
