    What you'll do

    As the Diversity & Inclusion Lead for racial equality you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategies for our Inclusion For All and Diversity and Inclusion Agenda, with a particular focus on racial equality. You will also lead on one of the following intersectional strategic pillars to ensure that we are taking a joined-up approach to D&I:

  • Attraction and Recruitment
  • Progression and Retention
  • Education and Awareness
  • Key accountabilities include:

  • Roadmap and Plan definition and execution: Work with stakeholders to define priorities and the roadmap in line with the broader strategy and strategic pillars. Develop a detailed project plan including key deliverables and timelines, support execution and delivery against the plan, partnering with people across HR, the networks and the business.
  • Partnering with our employee led networks: becoming a trusted partner to our Black Professionals network and Multicultural Inclusion network, and working collaboratively to gather insight, identify opportunities, and drive change.
  • Driving Collaboration: Work with broader business and HR to deliver on actions, project manage deliverables, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Thought leadership, ideas and challenge: Bringing in expertise and challenge to help move Vodafone forward and think of new ways to drive positive change.
  • Project Management: Proactively communicate progress being made on projects to key stakeholders highlighting key milestones and risks to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Strategic Planning: Partnering with cross functional teams to develop cohesive annual plans that takes an intersectional and end to end view.
  • Who you are

  • Passion for D&I and good understanding of or affiliation with the specific network with which you partner.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering on action plans, tracking progress, and driving deliverables with a proven record of impact.
  • Ability to drive positive action through collaboration, bringing expertise and challenge, and finding ways to make a positive impact on our people and agenda.
  • Experience partnering with a variety of stakeholders and being an SME on D&I.
  • Ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders while managing competing deliverables and activities.
  • Experience and confidence in dealing with confidential and sometimes sensitive information and situations.
  • Ability to provide expert advice and critical challenge respectfully, while also skilled at active listening.
  • Experience of navigating a large, complex organisation.
