Export & Logistics Coordinator required to join our client in Inverurie on a permanent staff basis.

In your role, you'll plan and co-ordinate materials to and from locations as identified, including creating and uploading manifests, creating load lists and commercial invoices.

Main duties and responsibilities

Managing all logistic movements in line with business requirements working closely with the relevant business functions.
Coordinating with vendors on cargo delivery dates.
Coordinating inter vendor movements as needed.
Creating manifests and relevant paperwork as required from client for shipments.
Liaising with freight forwards on international shipments.
Customs clearance of incoming shipments.
Compliance checking of import and export entries.
Creating dangerous goods documentation.
Inward processing relief tracking and paperwork.
Export/import entry filing/archiving.
Coordinating data for third party audits.
Adhernig to internal compliance programme.
Leading efforts for establishing and sustaining continuous process improvement.
Working with Buyer to obtain acceptable rates with transportation companies, freight forwarders and crating companies.
Invoice and delivery note uploads/checking/backups.
Assisting the commercial function on bid requirements.
