We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly part-time registered veterinary nurse to expand our fantastic nursing team. We offer a varied caseload including orthopaedic surgery, nurse clinics, and excellent inpatient care. The shift pattern will be approximately 20 hours across 2 days per week.

Our Exceptional Practice

Our state-of-the-art facilities boast advanced equipment. At our Dowlais site, we have a dedicated lab for all in-house testing, a dental suite, 2 theatres, separate dog and cat kennels, a large prep area, an isolation ward, an ultrasound machine with the cardiac probe, and digital radiography. At Aberdare, we have digital X-rays, a dental suite, separate dog/cat kennels and an ultrasound machine. Victoria Veterinary Practice is a community-minded, multi-branch veterinary practice. Both our sites (Dowlais & Aberdare) are situated in the South Wales valleys with easy access to Cardiff. Our Dowlais site is near the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

About the Team and Culture

Our team comprises 4 experienced Vets (one of our Vets is working towards a Small Animal Postgraduate certificate and one solely carries out Orthopaedics), 6 RVNS, 1 SVN, 1 ANA, 6 supporting team members and a Practice Manager.
