BPESearch is thrilled to collaborate with a leading consumer manufacturing business with 4 manufacturing facilities based in the North of England.

We're seeking an experienced Interim Operations Director to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing operational processes across our manufacturing sites, with a strong emphasis on cultural transformation, best practice implementation, and capability development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage operations across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Drive cultural transformation initiatives to foster a positive and high-performance work environment.
• Develop and implement best practices in operations management, including process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction strategies.
• Provide leadership and direction to site management and teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Champion employee development and engagement initiatives to enhance team performance and morale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Operations Director or similar leadership role, preferably within a high-volume industry.
• Demonstrated success in cultural transformation and change management initiatives.
• Strong background in implementing best practices and driving operational excellence.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive results.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites as needed.
