Fabrication Specialist (CNC Turner)

Hours:
Mon - Fri, 37 hours per week, 8am - 4:30pm, early finish on a Friday

Location:
Rochdale

Salary:
up to £31,000 depending on experience

Our Client, a market leader and specialist in the design and manufacture of water treatment systems are looking for an experienced Fabrication Specialist, CNC Turner for their modern and well equipped site in the Rochdale area.

Responsibilities for the Fabrication Specialist (CNC Turner) Role

Manual Machining Production and Planning
Use of precision measuring equipment
Inspection of materials and equipment
Working with Buyers and Project Engineers to maximise efficient use of machines and materials
Stock Control
Machine Shop housekeeping and safety
Any other reasonable tasks that may be requested to suit the needs of the Company

Requirements for the role

Experience with a XYZ Lathe
Ideally at least 1 year's experience working as a CNC Turner
Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering or Engineering and Manufacturing qualification
Competent with using hydraulic presses, grinders, borers and setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
Translate technical parts drawings into production
