Geo Technical Specialist - Bristol, United Kingdom - Hunter Mason
Description
Objective roles and responsibilities- Manage large sets of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental data
- Verify data according to site-specific criteria and standards
- Interpret and Fully Understand Earthwork Specifications and Industry Guidelines
- Oversee data collection onsite
- Coordinate with external testing facilities
- Contribute to project compliance and quality teams
- Schedule testing activities
- Maintain records
- Handle procurement tasks
- Conduct in-house sampling as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2nd class Degree, HND or Equivalent from Higher Education in a Geo-Technical, Environmental, or Scientific discipline
- CSCS / NPORS Carded individuals would be attractive for quick deployment to external sites.
- WAMITAB certification is also desirable
- Analytical handling of scientific data
- Ability to consider practical aspects of site work and testing times within project objectives
- Effective communication across all levels
- Excavator drivers to Chartered Environmental Consultants
- Report Generation
- Proficiency in IT
- MS Office proficiency
- Valid drivers license
Please bear in mind that this position is office-based with regular field visits, and prior soil management/testing experience is CRUCIAL.
Salary:
£33,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
