What you'll do

  • This position has responsibility for ensuring that your Team are delivering excellent customer service and receives an excellent quality of work in their respective work stream.
  • We are looking for someone with experience in supervision of Contractors and KPIs to ensure works are completed to the required standards.
  • We require the ability to manage Defects and remedial works so that they are logged and followed through to completion.
  • Experience in the electrical industry as an electrician is essential although experience in other aspects of compliance such as Gas, Water, Fire, Lifts etc are desirable.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Ensuring staff are aware of the relevant strategies and policies and are implementing the associated procedures.
  • Ensuring that their work stream represents good value for money.
  • Monitoring and addressing issues relating to the quality of works delivered and the Team skills to deliver the services.
  • Monitoring and addressing issues relating to the health and safety of their Team, and how they protect the customer and the site.
  • Ensuring that the Line Manager is appropriately informed and advised of the activities of your Team.
  • Being accountable for the performance of your Team in respect of service delivery, financial control and other responsibilities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing sickness and absence of your workforce.
  • Managing the welfare of the workforce. Monitor contractor certificates.
  • Monitor and address technical issues raised with contractors and repairs team.
  • Verify and sign certification issued by Trivallis electricians.
  • Ensure correct certification is issued.
  • Monitoring data on performance and quality using defined KPI's.
  • Hold Monthly meetings with electricians.
  • Advise electricians on changes to legislation and requirements for Certification.
  • Identify and propose appropriate actions where required.
  • Create and review Risk assessments and method statements.
