    The shift pattern is rotational days and nights.

    Please note that for this post, no newly qualified practitioner for 2024 will be considered for this role.

    As part of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will have the responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.

    The purpose of the ward / department is to provide nursing care for Surgical patients following day surgery procedures.

    Knowledge, Training and Experience Required:

  • Registered nurse on the NMC register
  • Adult surgical nursing experience
  • Knowledge of surgical terminology & common surgical conditions
  • Ability to fulfil criteria outlined in the job description
