    This is an opportunity to join an established real estate special situations investor.

    What they need:

    Circa 4 years of transaction experience gained in:

    1. Real estate lending. Likely to be in the structured finance team of an investment bank or an alternate lender. They would consider a corporate banking REF team but you would need to demonstrate strong cash flow modelling expertise.
    2. Real estate investing. Likely to be a value-add, special situations investor than somebody from an institutional team with a core investing background but they are open minded.
    3. Real estate corporate finance. From a bulge bracket or boutique investment bank.
    • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
    • Understanding of debt structuring, documentation and credit process fundamentals, as well as strong problem solving abilities
    • Ability to manage complex and shifting priorities
    • Entrepreneurial character and self-motivated
    • A positive and proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a small and growing team

    A more detailed job specification:

    • Transaction screening and due diligence for potential debt and equity investments across a variety of European real estate asset classes
    • Full underwriting and modelling of transactions
    • Compiling and issuing term sheets
    • Assisting in-house and third party lawyers with the structuring and documentation of transactions
    • Collaborate with in-house and external advisers on the structuring of investments from a Tax and Regulatory perspective
    • Ongoing monitoring of investments, debt & equity
    • Monitoring and reporting on individual investment and overall Fund performance
    • Liaison with key stakeholders, both internal and external, on investment performance
    • Assist senior personnel on the origination of new real estate debt investments.

    SALARY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE, BUT UP TO £100K + DISCRETIONARY, PERFORMANCE-RELATED BONUS UP TO 100% IN YOUR FIRST FULL YEAR (subject to performance).
