    Locum Childcare Lawyer

    £50 - £55 per hour

    Hybrid Working

    Full time

    Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a capable Childcare Lawyer to join a well-respected local authority based in the North West on a locum basis for 3 - 6 months, with a likelihood for extension.

    As Childcare Solicitor you will be confident in carrying your own caseload of care proceedings, as well as pre-proceeding matters. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

    • Handing a full caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children matters
    • Attending PLO and legal planning meetings
    • Drafting documents, including statements and threshold agreements
    • Non-accidental injury
    • Exclusion orders
    • Emergency protection orders

    Court attendance is desirable, however those offering a fully remote working arrangement may be considered.

    The role can offer flexible working arrangements and although full time availability is desirable, candidates offering part time availability may also be considered.

    Our client is open to considering applications from candidates from both public and private sector backgrounds if relevant public childcare experience is demonstrated.
