    Part time Catering Assistant (10 hours per week)

    Job Type- Permanent, Part-time (Term time only)

    Hourly rate - £11.79 per hour

    We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our catering team in our busy school kitchen at Leasowes Primary School. This role would suit a pro-active, experienced kitchen assistant and the emphasis will be on producing quality food, adhering to strict health and safety procedures.

    We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate:

    • Knowledge of practical cooking on a large scale
    • Level 2 in food preparation is desired – although training will be provided
    • Knowledge of food safety and Health & Safety in a kitchen
    • Effective communication skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure
