Description

This is a 14-month fixed term position for a senior Orthotist to be involved in all aspects of orthotic care.

The role is for a clinician willing and able to take on a complex case load, involves multidisciplinary working in a range of areas including spinal, neurological, diabetes, foot and ankle and paediatrics.

The role involves supervising junior staff as well as input into the continued development of the service to constantly improve the service provided to patients.

The role also includes teaching both internally and externally to other health care professionals.

All orthotists have weekly in-service training sessions and are allowed appropriate time for CPD and departmental service development.
