Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce the key financial statements for the rig entities each month, to the agreed timetable
  • To ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, and reporting is reliable and accurate
  • To support the rig operations team in all areas of financial management and analysis
  • To support the production of the budget and forecasts for the rigs
  • To support the yearend audit and provide all supporting information required
  • To work with and assist in the development of the rig finance team
  • To support continuous improvement of internal control and standard operating procedures
  • To ensure regular "housekeeping" routines are undertaken and managed in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Perform other ad hoc duties, complete additional tasks and support ad hoc projects as required
  • To ensure that there is accurate, robust, effective, and timely reporting of all financial information, both internally and externally
  • To ensure that the operations team have reliable and robust information and are supported when needed
  • To create, maintain and follow the financial policies and procedures of the Company, ensuring they are effective
To be successful you will be an experienced or Qualified Accountant with experience in Rig Accounting. You will be a commercially minded person with the ability to interact with stakeholders across the business.
