- Looking after onsite IT requirements:
- Installations, moves and changes to onsite equipment.
- Supporting factory and warehouse IT such as handheld devices and printers, as well as production line labelling and dispatch equipment.
- Maintaining on-site physical security – gates/cameras/security fobs
- Supporting business-critical IT operations within sales and finance offices, including maintenance of EDI and FTP order processing
- Acting as point of contact for 3rd party partners and assist in scheduling support activities/onsite visits for support.
- Supporting new-starts with IT system and hardware set-up.
- Providing project support for new system implementation and configuration.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment and/or certified to CompTIA level (A+, N+, S+)
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)/File Transfer Protocol (FTP): Experience with EDI/FTP setup, configuration, and troubleshooting is desirable.

About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated IT support technician to join our team. You will work closely with the IT manager and third-party service providers to maintain the various IT systems across the Group's 5 sites, whilst being primarily based at our main production facility in Glasgow. Working with our factory and office teams, you will be a key point of contact for day-to-day technical support as well as supporting the delivery of key IT implementation projects.
