Pay:
£11.00 per hour (excluding night shift allowance)

Job Purpose:
(This is a brief description of the role and how it contributes to the performance of the organisation)


Undertake all warehouse functions including unloading of inbound trailers, sortation of stock for outbound operations, loading outbound trailers and any other ancillary duties associated with these tasks.

To take care of both personal and colleague safety, to carry out tasks within a team environment to achieve targets in order to ensure the efficient running of the distribution centre.

Assist the operation in achieving Key Performance Indicators and objectives.

To contribute to the day to day functions of the site, ensuring all targets are met and the highest standards of quality, accuracy, safety and hygiene are maintained to ensure all management and customer expectations are met.


Principle Accountabilities:
(These are the "significant chunks" of your role and there should be no more than 6-8 principal accountabilities for a role)

Ensure the operation meets all requirements by completing each task to the highest quality standards.

Ensure a high level of effective communication is maintained with colleagues and management. Any problems or queries should be raised with your immediate line manager in the first instance.

To be responsible for the health and safety of self and colleagues who may be affected by your actions by ensuring all tasks are carried out to the relevant procedures and safe systems of work at all times.

4.

Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring accuracy, damage limitations and timeliness.

5.

Co-operate fully with all team members to achieve goals and targets

6.

Ensure that all damage to stock or equipment is reported to your FLM immediately.
