Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Dalkeith, is currently looking to recruit Porters / Warehouse Operatives for 2 months work on a rate of £11.44/hour (PAYE). The work will start on the 25th of April and the working hours initially will be 8:30am-4:00 pm but will change to 9.00am - 4.30pm later in the contact. There will also be overtime involved plus Saturday and Sunday shifts. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 35 hours and double time on a Sunday.Responsibilities:

• Event preparation
• Manual handling and layout of materials for event.
• Assist with the collation and packing of all items requiring despatch.
• Ensure these activities are carried our accurately and according to the time frame given.
• Organise collate and distribute material to internal and external customers.
• Undertake accurate filing and storage of paperwork.
• Retrieval of stored paperwork
• Checking, organising, moving and handling of stationery and materials.
• Maintain a tidy work area and comply with all Health and Safety regulations.

• Basic numerical abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Flexible working approach.
• Ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
• There is a daily requirement to undertake manual handling including heavy lifting and pallet movement.
