Communications Lead - HR, Change, Cultural Change

£700-£715 per day via Umbrella

3 days per week - 2 on site, 1 remote

About the role


Support the Project Urban Team to engage our people so they understand the approach we are taking to creating new company workplaces that drive performance, build community and are sustainably sourced and efficiently built.

Understand our internal employee audiences and insights to lead development of targeted, timely,integrated internal engagement plan focused on workplace solutions approaches to manage air traffic control and maximise measurable engagement.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead development of and activation of employee engagement plan, working alongside a new Culture and People workstream lead, to build pride, ownership and advocacy for new ways of working across our UK based corporate offices
  • Lead planning and creation of multichannel creative content, cadence and editorial calendar aligned to global enterprise strategic priorities
  • Provide strategic counsel to the Project Urban team on all communications and engagement matters, collaborating with HR and Programme delivery team
  • Share input into the overarching Haleon internal engagement calendar cadence to manage "air traffic control"
  • Lead development of internal engagement measurement strategy in collaboration with insights team

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Experience of working on global enterprise communications across a variety of internal audiences for major public or private sector organisations, or in an agency specialising in internal engagement or change communications
  • Strategic and pragmatic thinker with ability to proactively manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines without compromising on quality and attention to detail
  • Strong and persuasive influencer with the credibility to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Strong creative, writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
  • Comfortable handling sensitive, confidential, and complex information, providing counsel to make it accessible to all global enterprise audiences internally
  • Keeping calm under pressure with a "can do" proactive attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment is crucial
  • Understanding of best practices in employee engagement and change communications
