Teaching Assistant


A warm, well run, and inclusive school in the heart of London is offering a long-term teaching assistant role from the January until
July 2023. This is a great opportunity for an excellent teaching Assistant looking for a long-term rolethat is just a few minutes' walk from Brixton station.

The role is a one-one position with a lovely boy who has SEMH needs. He is not SEN but does need extra support in the classroom. Particularly, managing his emotional responses to situations.

Role requirements of a Teaching Assistant:


  • Able to work effectively with a one-one:
  • A willingness to help in extra curriculum activities
  • Able to work effectively with small groups
  • SEN experience

Main responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant:

  • To assist the classroom teacher in take engaging lessons
  • Coordinate effectively with Class Teacher
  • To perform safeguarding duties
  • Working oneone with special needs pupils
  • Perform interventions
