Brent Universal Children's Service is seeking Administrators to support our Universal Health Visiting and School Nursing services across Brent.

The post holder is a member of the ONW single point of access (SPA), within the Children's Universal team. The responsibilities of the team are to support Children's 0-19 Services and clinical staff to manage the day-to-day administration.

The Children's Universal Team are responsible for registering patients, booking clinic appointments, updating waiting lists and communicating appointment related information to patients, carers, and health professionals.

They aim to make effective use of resources, reduce duplication, and ensure this is effectively and safely managed through the system.

We currently have 1 full-time vacancy 37.5 hours per week

Children's Universal is open Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm except all bank holidays and weekends. This postholder will work within the SPA's operational hours.

The post holder is a member of the Admin SPA team and the responsibilities of the team are to support clinical services.

The post holder will also work within designated divisional teams to support clinical services and specifically:


  • Assisting in organising the team's workload through effective diary management
  • The ordering of equipment and supplies
  • Supporting the integrated team therapists/ nurses with daily administrative duties


The post holder will also take responsibility for booking clinics and appointments, process new referrals, update waiting lists and communicating appointment related information to service users, families and carers.
