Part Time Accounts Assistant - Hull - To £22,000 (Pro Rata)
Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with a well-respected engineering business based on the outskirts of Hull. They are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic part time Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable and well-established business.

Part time Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:


  • Processing a highvolume of purchase ledger; from invoice coding and posting to reconciling monthly statements
  • Set up payment runs for purchase ledger from monthly spreadsheet
  • Processing subcontract accounts including CIS and DRC transactions
  • Payroll input and submission to external company, posting of sage journals and reconciling staff accounts
  • Credit check new account customers and send starter packs out
  • Sales invoicing to all customers, portal maintenance, credit control and payment allocation
  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving all account queries
  • Assisting with HR administration duties

Required Skills & Experience:


  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines within a busy environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Previous experience within a Purchase / Subcontract Ledger environment
  • Construction Industry experience would be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure all deadlines and targets are met
