LHC is a not-for-profit procurement organisation with over fifty years' experience of housing and construction.

We are a leading provider of free-to-use framework agreements used by local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies to procure works, products and services for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.


Principal aims of LHC

  • LHC provides specialist technical and procurement products and services that help contracting authorities (LHC Clients) and building contractors and suppliers (LHC Appointed Companies) to deliver publicly funded building projects on time and on budget, and in so doing deliver better buildings and homes that enhance local communities.
  • LHC engages with LHC Clients and LHC Appointed Companies through six Regional Business Units (RBUs), supported by a Group Procurement Team which develops and markets the LHC range of products and services.

Principal aims of LHC London and South East

  • Operating as one of the LHC five RBUs, LHC LSE provides specialist technical and procurement services related to building programmes undertaken by clients and other public sector bodies throughout London and the South East of England.
  • To work with housing associations, local authorities, and other public sector bodies (clients) to deliver better homes and buildings that enhance local communities.
  • To develop and manage framework agreements to ensure supply companies deliver excellent service to our clients.
  • To ensure the strategy, activities and operations of LSE support and align with the overall mission of the group.
About the role


Main Purpose of the job**- Working closely with the LSE Director, manage and agree the annual LSE marketing and communications plan, to include costing and budgeting of events and all associated MarCom's activity.

  • To ensure successful implementation and delivery of the on & offline marketing activities to increase market presence, generate opportunities and build client and supplier loyalty.
  • Through effective marketing communications, work towards exceeding the expectations of our clients and suppliers.
  • Work closely with Group Marketing to ensure branding and marketing activity is effectively aligned to the wider marketing strategy.
  • Lead on the delivery of events, webinars, and exhibitions, ensuring maximum exposure through stand design, the production of bespoke collateral, event management and review of ROI.

Role Responsibilities and Expectations

Promotional:


  • Develop and deliver marketing materials and literature, always ensuring access and availability.
  • Develop an annual event plan and support the operational and promotional elements of events and exhibitions, booking venues and ordering marketing materials
  • Identify target markets and develop online and offline strategies to communicate with them.
  • Become a brand ambassador for LSE, ensuring our values and brand guidelines are adhered to internally and externally.

Online & Digital:


  • Creating content to be publicised via blog posts and articles.
  • Develop and deliver the social media strategy through the various online tools.
  • Proactively identify, develop, and deliver the various online tools to drive maximum traffic to our website and improving search engine optimisation. The MM will be expected to deliver a successful social media strategy.
  • Management of the LSE website and uploading content and ensuring that all information is true and correct while maintaining an excellent web experience for users. Content includes uploading blogs, case studies, news stories etc.
  • Create and distribute all emarketing campaigns through third party mailing platforms.
  • Drive the promotion of LSE frameworks through third party websites such as: clients, appointed companies, strategic partnership organisations and trade associations across all regions.

Database:


  • Through effective marketing activities and management, drive the growth of our database and optimise its use on CRM.
  • Perform regular data cleansing activities on our CRM database
  • Working with the regional delivery team, evaluate client and supplier feedback to develop, implement and evaluate customer data through surveys, polls and completion questionnaires.

Market specific:


  • Working with LSE team, identify and manage potential alliances with relevant trade associations for the promotion of our frameworks.
  • Research, analyse and report findings on alternative framework offerings in the market
